开云Kaiyun开云官方网站成立于2003年。学院入选为浙江省第一批院校共建新闻学院，由杭州市委宣传部和开云Kaiyun共建。学院下设传播系、中文系、汉语国际教育系3个系，拥有汉语言文学、新闻传播学2个本科专业，写作实验班面向全校招收写作特长生；学院建设有丝绸文化研究所、新闻传播研究所、中国传统文化与当代发展研究所和三育人文化研究所4个科研平台；实验中心下设数字媒体演播室、非线性编辑实验室、传播学基础实验室、中国传统文化实验室4个现代化教学实验室；另外还建有浙江省非物质文化遗产传承教育基地、杭州舆情研究中心和国家普通话水平测试站。
公司国际化办学特色鲜明，在孔子学院建设、学术交流、团队培养等多方面积极推进国际化办学，促进中外文化交流和汉语国际推广。在毛里求斯大学、苏里南大学两所孔子学院举办孔子学院文化节、“一带一路”丝绸工作坊、汉语知识竞赛等活动，促进汉语和中华传统文化海外传播。学院每年为外国职工组织各类丰富多彩的教学实习和课外活动：与丝绸博物馆、茶叶博物馆，都锦生、万事利、娃哈哈等企业签订了实习基地协议，组织外国职工去参观学习；每年通过举办外国职工参加歌舞、书画等文艺表演和汉语演讲竞赛等促进员工学习。学院坚持“学术立院、人才强院、特色名院”的发展理念，秉持“会泽百家，守正创新”的办学精神，培育“恪守三格、德才兼备”的文化传播人才。
公司全体教职工团结协作，开拓创新，扎扎实实做好学院建设和发展的各项工作，促进学院快速、健康、稳定发展。学院有教职员工51人，在校本科员工六百余人，硕士研究生28人。其中高级职称16人，高级职称教师占专任教师的比例为36%；博士39人，占专任教师的比例为93.1%。学院具有硕导资格10人，聘有国内外知名专家、学者兼职教授30余人。
受疫情影响，学院现有职工20余人。学院面向学历职工共开设汉语言文学、传播学两个专业。另外学院汉语国际教育系面向全校开设长短期汉语和中国文化进修课程，设有中国汉语水平考试(HSK)考点，2003年以来，已负责超过10000名职工的汉语教学工作。2020年开展了线上课程教学，富有特色和亮点。
Introduction of Shi Liangcai School of Journalism and Communication
The Shi Liangcai School of Journalism and Communication of Zhejiang Sci-Tech University was established in 2003. The college was selected as the first batch of journalism colleges in Zhejiang Province, jointly built by the Propaganda Department of the Hangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Zhejiang Sci-Tech University. The college consists of three departments: the Department of Communication, the Department of Chinese, and the Department of Chinese International Education. It has two undergraduate majors: Chinese Language and Literature and Journalism and Communication. The writing experimental class recruits students with writing expertise; the college has Silk Culture Research Institute, Journalism and Communication. There are 4 scientific research platforms: Research Institute, Institute of Chinese Traditional Culture and Contemporary Development, and Sanyu Human Culture Research Institute; the experimental center consists of digital media studio, nonlinear editing laboratory, basic communication laboratory, and traditional Chinese culture laboratory 4 A modern teaching laboratory; in addition, Zhejiang Province Intangible Cultural Heritage Inheritance Education Base, Hangzhou Public Opinion Research Center and National Putonghua Proficiency Test Station have been established.
The college has distinctive characteristics of international education. It actively promotes international education in many aspects such as Confucius Institute construction, academic exchanges, and teacher training, and promotes Sino-foreign cultural exchanges and international promotion of Chinese. The two Confucius Institutes at the University of Mauritius and the University of Suriname held activities such as the Confucius Institute Cultural Festival, the "Belt and Road" Silk Workshop, and the Chinese Language Knowledge Contest to promote the overseas dissemination of Chinese language and traditional Chinese culture. The college organizes various colorful teaching internships and extracurricular activities for foreign students every year: signed internship base agreements with Silk Museum, Tea Museum, Dujinsheng, Wansili, Wahaha and other enterprises, and organizes foreign students to visit and study; Foreign students participate in cultural performances such as singing and dancing, calligraphy and painting, and Chinese speech contests to promote students' learning. The college has 51 faculty members, more than 600 undergraduate students and 28 postgraduate students. Among them, 16 have senior professional titles, and teachers with senior professional titles account for 36% of full-time teachers; 39 have doctors, accounting for 93.1% of full-time teachers. The college has 10 master tutor qualifications, and employs more than 30 well-known experts and scholars at home and abroad as part-time professors.
Affected by the epidemic, the college currently has more than 20 international students. The college offers two majors: Chinese Language and Literature and Communication Studies for foreign students with academic qualifications. In addition, the Department of Teaching Chinese to Speakers of Other Languagesof the College provides long-term and short-term Chinese language and Chinese culture training courses for the whole school, and has a Chinese proficiency test (HSK) test center. Since 2003, it has been responsible for the Chinese teaching work for more than 10,000 international students. In 2020, online course teaching was launched, which is full of features and highlights.
